It turns out that apparently he did on a few occasions criticize the violence but he never named or called out any specific group like BLM or Antifa out of fear.  Of course those statements were not widely disseminated by the media because they knew it would hurt him with the radical fringe left even if he didn't name them.  He only came out forcefully and broadly after the polls started to turn against the riots in August, which is the only one I could recall for obvious reasons. However, he never condemned those in his own party that were inciting and encouraging the riots nor did he condemn the media for their inciting further violence, something he demanded of Trump.  And he never named any of the groups that were looting and rioting.

But let us remember that Kamala Harris, many of the staffers of the Biden campaign and many Democrat members of Congress contributed to and promoted a fund to bail out criminal protesters.  Including one that was a convicted sexual abuser of children.  So Biden is still a disgrace that he allowed his VP and campaign staffers to promote further protests by bailing out these criminals.
