I care about people in general.  One woman I know, a cancer survivor with a heart condition - from all the radiation she had to endure, was in the hospital for 2 weeks and survived.  Another woman I know, had corona, was hospitalized, released and continued to have migraine like headaches - seems her carotted artery was damaged by the virus and she died quite suddenly. Another woman I know had Corona, was able to recover at home, but her husband, who is active and healthy, ended up in the hospital for 2 weeks in ICU, one oxygen decibel away from being put on a ventilator.  This woman's mother, who is 87, had corona was in the hospital and then recovered at home.  Another woman I know just went progressively downhill and died.  She was in her 40s with no health issues.  

But for me, the thing is this.   I don't care how they count it whether it is a monster pandemic or something smaller, the Chinese unleashed it on the world so they could go about their business taking the focus off them.  I just don't get why this is so important to you.  I'm not ignoring scientists, I am listening to scientists; I'm listening to the Drs. who are on the front lines.  I'm not running scared behind my mask.  But for me wearing a mask is a small thing.  I don't know if it was smart to close down the economy, or take kids out of scool or any of those things- I'm gong to let the historians figure that out.  

But I guess if it makes you and a handful of others feel better - like you have figured somethig big out- then go for it.  You and other just have an opinion, based on incomplete data.  You are not saving the world.
