Actually Archie, it is getting out slightly after the dark night sky shows a hint of color out of the east, quietly gathering one's fishing paraphanalia and heading down to the dock; and then, as the silence of the night is pierced by rustling wildlife, throwing your line out there waiting for the first bite of the day.  Then....

Heading back to your lake homestead, where you see lights on meaning that there are some who have risen, and entering to the smell of freshly brewed coffee.  You pour yourself a large cup and head to the screened porch with the overhead fan whirling slowly and enjoy the early sights and sounds of recreational boating.  Then.....

Reflecting on the days when you so enjoyed taking the youngsters out for a day of tubing, slalom water skiing, on the boat or Yamaha jet ski, knowing that the same routine will be reserved for the grandchildren in time.  Then.....

Preparing for the long awaited happy hour as the sun begins its westward journey.  Cold adult beverages and hor d'oeuvres and much conversation and laughter get you in the mood for whatever you decided earlier in the day to put on the BGE.  Then....

After your stomach is full, the sun has set and the fire flys and crickets are starting up their evening routine, you gather in the boat for a quiet slough cruise and enjoy the view of the shoreline at night from the water.  Then....

As you get set to retire for a long-awaited nights sleep, you thank God for this enchanting slice of Earth and equally thank those who have worked to protect the freedoms that allow us the privilege of living on LM.  And then.....do my best to flush out of my mind the current actions and arrogance and senility of our current president.
