Phil, having been retired for 16 years now, I don't consider myself much of a government insider anymore.  I'm sure a lot of things have changed.  But I did know the people associated with the whole Iraq dabacle, I often interfaced with people on the Hill, people at State and Commerce.  I had been involved wih the Ports controversy that Hilary Clinton, among other started.  I prepared testimony for other people to testify before Congressional Committees.  It didn't make me all knowing, but I understand basic procedures and how things get done.  If that offends you, I'm very sorry.  And I don't really care what you think.
