If you can not use force when you are being beaten with something, or someone else pulls a gun on you - I am not sure where you would ever be able to claim self defense.

If he is justified is going to be up to the judge and the jury and not my call - my statement had to do with the fact the prosecutor is trying to make statements about things he is flat ignorant about and trying to make claims about things that are just not true.
