When I look at this site, it shows the lake level (as of today) at 455 feet, with a graph of historic levels.

BUT:  When I look at the State of Ca website, that shows inflows and outflows  it shows the level currently at 449 feet.  Their site shows levels to the decimal point accuracy.  I realize this is not a huge difference --- 6 feet, but why the discrepancy?  Their site is interesting --- showing hour by hour inflows and outflows.  Currently the inflow is significantly more than the outflow (even during those 'it just got dark and the outflows increase exponentially' times).  Their web address is: cdec.water.ca.gov/dynamicapp/........  (why does this forum not allow me to cut and paste a web address!).  

Additionally:  has anyone taken the white water rafting trip from Coloma to Folsom Lake?
