All those things depend on which Trump we had - the sane, rartional Trump who saw things that needed fixing and did it - or the stinky last two years Trump of petty bitterness and "they don't like me" attitude. I think Trump's attitude in the last year and a half of his Presidency was a significant departure from his first couple of years. It's like his ego exploded and he began to think he was King instead of President. And look at the losers he surrounded himself with - Steve Bannon and Rudy and Eastman and a number of others whose advice was very questionable. Even his campaign was hosed up - instead of running on his real accomplishment and strong economy, he made petty attacks and ran his mouth far too much about everything else. He literally cost himself the election.
I sincerely hope he doens't run again. It's going to put me in a very difficult position if they made him the nominee. I really don't think Biden is going to run again, no matter what he says. I think at this point, people really want a common sense centrist who can make a clear path. Trump has now got too much baggage and Biden has made too much of a mess of everything he has touched. Trumps association with white supremist groups, and these questionable associates and firing cabinet officials on whim are not going to fly. And Republicans that are currently in office who are hanging on to Trump like he's going to save them are delusional. it wasn't Trump people liked, it was his policies. Frankly, I think Biden has screwed his chances and the chances of another Democrat who might run.
