Frankly I mis-spoke.  What I should have said is "If there IS global warming caused by humans I wouldn't mind a verifiable global solution".  Not sure where you got the idea I was talking about CO2, because I didn't explicitly state that was my concern.  Rather, I was taking about global warming for whatever reason (from what I read most warming devotees do believe CO2 is the reason). 

Now I am not a geologist, geophysicist, or a partridge in a pear tree but there are an awful lot of scientists with CVs as good as and better than yours who seem to think differently.  I don'tknow what to believe because my BA in Chemistry and management-related advanced degrees don't prepare me to argue from a position of scientific knowledge.

Maybe you can tell us this:  Why is your assessment seemingly in the minority? Is there a worldwide conspiracy to advance a fraudulent theory that man-made CO2 emissions are warming the earth and will cause an awful lot of coastal cities to become modern day Venices?  Where is the disconnect between your assessment and theirs?  And if it isn't CO2 causing warming...and there really is warming, what is causing it?

This post may appear to be combative but it really isn't.  Just trying to understand and hope where challenged you can answer with something Archie will never abide:  Logic and reason.
