I am by no means a scientist, but while I believe in climate change, I don't believe that we can stop it. So if I am not a scientist, why do I believe this? I need only think about the unknowns of the Universe - With the new telescopes, we see things that we have never seen before. There is so much unknown, so how do people definitively say that by reducing carbon emissions we can stop the changes in the Universe. We have theories of how our world came into being, but no one can say definitively. We don't know the history of the other planets within our own solar system, much less than other solar systems.
Wasn't it Al Gore that started this? Democrats have spun it into a industry and we are being forced to accept this nonsense.
