have had same sysstem for 15 years--is connected to landline (Windstream) which is never used and sometimes goes down & we dont know--so if we had an issue, fire, breakin,  and landline wasnt working, the signal wouldnt be received by the monitoring station; my installer says he can install a box $200 that would utilize our iphone for sending signal & we could do away with land line; the issue is: im paying $15 monthly now--with the new system it goes uo to $35 monthly ;   i will be saving money by cancelling land line buy going up $20/month for monitoring

any suggestions?
