Max Cleland is NOT A WAR HERO!! Disabled veteran YES. HERO? NO!

Details.....

Max was behind the lines delivering equipment to a new radio relay station that was being set up. The last delivery of the day the GI's on station were preparing to drink a few beers. First the said no, but after the chopper started to lift off he changed his mind and told the pilot to put him back on the ground. He spotted a hand grenade and went to pick it up, not knowing it was live.

Now tell me how he compares to a POW who spent 8 years interned in a camp, half in solitary, and was TORTURED DAILY.

I had time I would look for the link to the story of the TRUTH of Max Clelands injuries. It is out there, just look for it. You want find it on any of the liberal media sites however. Are you aware that he DID NOT recieve a Purple Heart for his wounds because they were not during combat, or from enemy fire? HERO? Not even according to HIM. Not at least until he became the media darling of the far left.

I am including the first link of 665 when I Googled "max cleland" +"purple heart". The truth is out there, you just have to look for it. Thankfully a FEW conservative pundits do through Lexix-Nexis.
