Not me. I was refering to judges in general, especially federal judges. I wasn't even thinking of the Chucks case. I think what that judge did was simply apply a compremise. Fair enough. Local Judges, IMHO, do not have the power to create the havoc from the bench that federal judges can. More specifically, appeals judges.

RR has a very valid point about precedent and the 9th Curcuit ( AKA circus) court of Appeals in CA. And recently we had a U.S. Supreme court decision that actually quoted a foreign court decision. Very dangerous stuff there. I wish I could remember case and court, but I have CRS. It should be easy enough to Google though.

Anyway, we are in the same hymnal, just different pages.
