I discovered Lake Martin over 25 years ago, and still love it. I agree, things are changing and it does depend on your perspective. I for one enjoy the growth and the diversity it brings to the lake and the economy. We have more choices in restaurants, shopping, and even friendly people to relax and have fun with.
That being said, I would guess I’m not alone in becoming tired of your often negative attitude….. which seems to imply that everyone should enjoy the lake your way, or no way. If all you can do is whine about change, jet ski’s, wakeboard boats, and more, maybe you should consider going someplace less stressful to your fragile sole; or just accept the privilege of our lake and free economy, and enjoy what we all have available to us in this great country.
