Just my opinion: Do not buy an underpowered boat. Unless you are not an explorer and stay close to home you need 100+ HP to get you out of harms way if you get caught out in a storm.

LM is a real big lake and if you like running down to Chucks or Sinclairs etc you might want an I/O or one of those 4 stroke Outboards up to say 150 HP. Tri-toon adds stability and speed. Yamaha has performance reports on various pontoon boats- speed fuel consumption etc.

Drive it first!
