I've heard that Talladega county wants a bridge asap. Shelby county has stalled and wants the condition of county road 28 improved if they were to go ahead with plans. I guess it is inevitable that they build one. The land on the point down from Perkins landing across from Paradise Point is for sale. I think it is listing for over $2 million for about 65 acres. The old gas station at 145 and 28 will be hot property.
