That is a wide open question without a true correct answer; it depends where you are and what you want to do. The lake is plenty deep and is always navigable, but there are many places in coves and creeks that require care when the lake is down. Some docks go dry, and others have 5-10 feet of water in the worst of times. If you are unfamiliar, I suggest using caution and a depth finder from this point on.
