Man you were extremely lucky especially when you consider that is probably the deepest part of the lake. Also consider a few years ago no body would have been around that area to have heard you. ( The Ridge being developed).
I been on the lake since 1964 it was probably back in 1970 so I was 10 year old I a guy that worked at Real Island on the gas dock he hit another boat at night head on both operators were killed. The next day we road up to the marina and saw the boats that were destroyed. I still think of that when we go out to eat at night in the boat.
Again good to hear you escaped serious injury I late we all got carried away about the drinking.
