run L Lanier at 30mph but the situation is much tougher at Martin. Lanier has plenty of markers that give you better information and there is lots of ambient lighting from the population that is absent at Martin. I have yet to run Martin at night because of this. Maybe I'll try putting around in my pontoon on a moonlit night first.

Oh yes the comment about the spotlight - that should be used to flash ahead intermittently to look for obstacles and idiots that are anchored without lights....
