Your dish probably uses an offset feed where the signal comes in from a much higher angle than the direction the dish is "looking". The signal bounces off the top of dish and reflected to the feedhorn/lnb down low....doubt that you would be able to get a usable signal through the
trees. I have Charter cable and pipeline and have been very satisfied with them. I also have a 10' dish with C and Ku feeds using a 4DTV receiver capable processing analog and digital. I also use an mpeg
digital receiver with the big dish. I don't miss much...WAR EAGLE!
