If your dish at the lake is also correctly positioned to the DirecTV satellite, you could take your receiver with you when you go from one place to another...might be too much a hassle unless you enjoy hooking up the connections in the back. A better approach might be to get a "second bedroom" receiver (depending upon how much extra they tack on) and let your "second bedroom" be the lake house.
