If you cut grass, get a 2-cycle engine mower. The steep hills around the lake will kill a 4 cycle unless it has an oil pump. Most do not. They use an "oil dipper" that relies on gravity to keep the oil under the crankshaft.
If you can use a level and have some carpentry skills, you can make a good living installing decks, docks and other small projects.
Harbor Pointe marina charges $80/hour for boat work. So, if you can polish a boat and add gas, you can make a living in the field of boat maintaince. You will not earn $80 ,but make a living, sure.
I pay $1800/ year to keep my boat at Harbor Pointe rather than fight the up and down of the lake level. I keep my boat at my dock only a few weeks out of the year. Mud wasps plugged up the outboard engine exhaust drain holes of the last boat I had. Then they shorted out the battery connections so it would not restart out in the middle of the lake. Oh, the disadvantages of a quiet slough over a windy point. More bugs.
