Did you guys know that dozens of cemetaries were moved when the lake was backed up. A local undertaker out of Alex City was paid $10 for every grave that he moved. It was up to him to convince the families and loved ones of the deceased that this was in everyones best interest. Hundreds of graves moved at $10 each in 1924-1925. Pretty good gig for the undertaker.

I used to know the name of the undertaker that had the contract, but CRS has gotten to me today.
