We left town this Memorial weekend and I think it may be a good idea for the future three holiday weekends of the summer. Except for those three weekends the lake is manageable for the other 357 days or so.

I remember trying to fly out of New Orleans on Friday before Mardi Gras one year and couldn't find a parking place anywhere close to the airport. Then I figured out that all the smart citizens got the he!! out of town to avoid the idiots. Good idea!!
