Since we have been talking about State Farm, let me tell you what ALFA did to me.

I had my house, boats and cars insurance with ALFA for many years. I always paid on time and never had a claim.

One day they told me my insurance rates had gone up and asked me for an additional $25 for my house insurance (on a $1,200 policy). I informed them that they sent me a policy 11 months ago and they accepted my check which is a binding contract for 12 months. The Alex City representative called me and said that he wanted the $25 immediately and when I resisted he cancelled my policies 3 weeks before the year was up.

ALFA is not trustworthy.
