Went out on Saturday and Sunday in Sandy Creek. There are plenty of spots biting. There are some shad but not much. Water temp 56 to 58 degrees. Used a small Rattle Trap. Caught all fish near the shore. I went out for stripers but could not locate any fish or schools of shad so I switched to bass. Anyone have any luck with stripers. What are there patterns right now? I have fished Smith for stripers and I am quickly learning that Martin is harder to fish because of its size. I think the water is still a little cold.
