First Lesson: Two men were each tasked with chopping a great pile of wood. The first guy started wildy chopping as fast as he could, never looking up. The second guy calmly took the time to sharpen his axe before he went to work. The second guy finished first with much less work.

Second Lesson: In a kingdom long ago, the king was very old and needed to decide on who would replace him. He called together his four sons and gave each of them a single seed. He instructed them to plant the seed and bring it back next year. Only then would he decide which of them would be the new king. The youngest son planted his seed and watched it carefylly. He watered and cared for the seed, but it never grew. The following year the king called his four sons together to see their results. Three of the sons had marvelous plants with blooms and flowers, but the youngest son humbly put forth his empty pot. The other sons laughed and made fun of the youngest boy, but the king said, "my youngest son, you are the new king!". He went on to explain, "The seeds I gave each of you last year were boiled and could not grow. My youngest son is the only one with the courage and honesty to show me his true results". You reap what you sow!

Thanks FEB, this is great.
