I have always done well with plastic worms for largemouth. One of the advantages of the lower water is that you can find good largemouth cover like fallen trees or brushpiles around boat docks that is usually hidden by an extra four feet of water this time of year. I fish up the Little Kowaliga arm where there are several creeks that turn into shallow, more largemouth friendly habitat than the main lake. The very backs of the creeks are high and dry, but there is still plenty of shallow cover, much of it planted by fishermen, that is still fishable.
