It appears that they are. We walked over there yesterday afternoon and got one of the fliers. It didn't say how many houses are going to be built but there are 13 lots. IThe flyer states that all lots will have at least 15 feet of flat grass in front of their house. My husband and I are having a hard time figuring out how they are going to fit 13 houses there and also, the depth of the houses fitting on the lots. We estimated the lots to be no more than 30 feet in width and that is being generous. We had more space between us and our neighbors when we had our place at Lake Martin RV Resort than these houses will have between them. The house that is being built has this huge concrete wall behind it. I would hate to be the original house behind that one. It had a view of the water from the front and back and now looks straight at a concrete wall.

Something else interesting on the flyer is that the "initial" HOA fees for phase I will be about $2,500 annually. Fees include costs for lawn maintenance even on personal property, seawalls, private access roads, boat ramp and community pool. Initial developer pricing of homes is $947,000 to 974,000. Said the homes will be available summer 2008. We'll be watching this to see how well it is going to go.

I wonder if any lots have been sold at Bolton Cove.
