My husband was up there Friday planting shrubs and the neighbor from 2 doors down came over and started talking. He's been there since the cove was developed in the early 70's. He has no plans of leaving and same for our neighbor between us. We bought this place in Oct 2005 and in Jan 2006 our other neighbor asked us if we wanted to go in with him on selling our place and swapping it out with a condo that he was wanting to develop. We originally agreed to it but then started looking for something to replace it with because a condo is not for us with small children, pets and we like to have our family up when we are there. The people on around the slough from us agreed to do it but we've seen nothing done. I'm not sure if he put his plans on hold because Bolton Cove started up shortly after this discussion or if the new rules from APC on boat slips/docks did it. At least we know that us and 2 other neighbors aren't going anywhere.

We are at the back of he cove and have water right now but if we go below winter pool we won't have any. I like the area we are at now but I liked the water we had at Lake Martin RV Resort better, definately water year round.
