Alabama Power is supposed to start dropping Lay lake and Mitchell today to keep the Alabama river flowing. A Alabama Power V.P. on TV last week sited Federal requirements for navigation and water needs for some cities.

I was down this past weekend. I have seen the water down before....but this is really depressing in person. This is as bad as I've ever seen it. It is the first time that I have has to weed-eat the shore/beach..
