I guess it depends on your situation about how much you care about the low water and APCO usage of the lake. For some, like me it's no big deal. We have year round water and plenty more water if it goes below winter levels. We have a floating dock and a stationary dock for the boat. When we can't use the stationary dock we just keep the boat tied to the floating dock which we move with the water level. The only inconvienance is having to take a few more steps to get on the boat. Now if your one of these people in a million dollar home that a developer has put in a slew with about 10 other homes and it has 5 feet of water in the summertime I would be upset too. But on that note it is mostly your fault for not realizing that the lake will not always be at full pool in the summer months. Most of the people that are upset are the new people to the lake that are experiencing this for the first time. Just chalk it up as one of those things you learn the hard way. This is a rare bad year. You can raise hell with APCO all you want but for alot of people on the lake this is just part of Martin and it does not affect or bother the long time residents. The drought has gotten so severe this year that no matter what APCO would have done different recreational activities would have been affected this year.
