You guys were good to go. The law says 100ft, and you were much farther than that. I waived you guys closer since we had just surfaced and were all out of the water. I guess he seen that. My buddy let him have it pretty good and he was very apologetic. He was not aware that I had waived you closer. Just a misunderstanding. That’s why we most usually have a spotter on the boat, just in case. If we are venturing farther from the boat than the 100ft we will have a flag with us, marking our position.

The water is really murky this year. Almost un-enjoyable. (Notice I said almost ;-)
