"They had to put her to sleep and keep her overnight. I pick her up this AM. She has to wear a lampshade and bandage for 10 days until she gets her stitches out. $300+ vacation emergency. Low water, rain, caught in thundertsorms, trip to vet...whats next? Something tells me I should have stayed home (Myrtle Beach) golfed a few rounds and layed on the beach...(even if I do that all the time)"

Just kiddng around a little bit. I truly hope your girl is OK. I am sorry that you had to find some rednecks trash like that. Every time I stop at a beach I make sure to walk around and pick up as much trash as I can find. This year with the low water there has been an abundace of half buried 'treasures'. Come back another year and give the souths best kept secret a second chance. Hmmm... on second thought tell EVERYONE how miserable it was..lol.
