Time for me to post. It looks like the lake level topic is gaining some steam again.

Let's take a look at the definition of a reservoir - a natural or artificial place where water is collected and stored for use, esp. water for supplying a community, irrigating land, furnishing power, etc.

So my question to everyone is, Is the lake being used for its intended purpose? By definition the answer is yes.

Just imagine if we did not have all of these reservoirs to pull water from during a drought. The lakes serve a greater purpose than recreation and local economies. Unfortunatley these are sort of like by products of the formation of these lakes.
