It seems to me that the extremely low lake level is creating dangerous conditions, to the point that normal boating operations might need to be curtailed. I have a houseboat at Sulphur Creek, and returning to the marina last Sunday, the depth under the keel in some normally safe locations was less than 3'. Is this strictly related to the drought, or is the situation on Lake Cumberland complicating the issue? Does anyone have any insight as to what the USACE's plan is re: Dale Hollow lake level for the Fall/Winter?
