How is the group structured? What are the bylaws? What I am trying to discern is what process is used before the 'leaders' write letters and make press releases. Do the 3-4 of you guys just decide to put something out without it being discussed and voted on by the membership? I don't recall a meeting to discuss the recent letters sent to the CORPS and the Governor. If this is the structure how can you claim to represent the membership, much less all concerned 'stakeholders'. I believe the recent letters show an arrogance that is detrimental to the long range goals of the group. Basically what you have is 3-4 guys that put forth their opinion, NOT the groups. But you use the 'group' to claim numbers. How do you know the 'group' would give a majority vote to pursue such a path? I believe when both sides are presented, you may not have as many supporters as you claim. You may, arrogance seems to rule the day lately, but how do you KNOW if it is not discussed? I have never been asked to join a group/club/organization where I was expected to pay dues without a voice or vote in the direction of the groups agenda. I would be interested to see bylaws that allowed the 'leaders' such leeway. Is the same true of the finances? You few leaders just decide to spend the groups money and that is that. No discussion or vote? If that is the way it works you guys built quite a little club for yourselves.
