My children will tell you that it's not a measure of how tough I am....it's a measure of my stupidity. I have a full and a short suit. It's long suit weather. Don't use the short one much. You either need one - or you don't.

I'm not saying I don't get cold. I skied 3 times on the 6th and by the 3rd time my muscles were getting pretty tight just from the cold. Being cold makes you more prone to injury, too. I ruptured a disc in my back skiing a few years ago. It was late October. I had to have surgery. I was skiing again in the spring (much to my surgeons chagrin). Then, did it AGAIN the following November. Didn't have surgery that time but I couldn't walk for almost 6 weeks. That sucked but it didn't stop me. Now you see why my kids would say it's more a measure of the level of my stupidity.

FYI I have short suits in various sizes mainly for kids when we go tubing in fall or early spring. But since my son is 19 I have large sizes. Sam’s marks them WAY down in the summer. I got some of them for about $15.00. Anyway, I'm HAPPY to be a driver. Can't say I've had much practice lately pulling a wakeboarder but I'm quick on the uptake.
