Go up Parker Creek and ride the north bank (right side). He sits on a little island that is connected by a foot bridge. I went up there early lst year and missed him on the first pass too. The island was really grown up and he was hard to spot. I don't know if it was because of he drought or what. I don't get up that way but maybe once a year these days.

If you really want to see the lake and learn your way around I suggest riding shorelines. Pick a spot and start riding following the shoreline instead of 'channels'. The next time start at the spot you stopped at last time. In no time you will have seen a LOT of lake you never knew existed. That is how I learned this side of the lake when I moved over here in 2000. I knew the Kowliga side already, but I try to get over there at least once a year to see what changes have taken place.
