If people feel like bread is too expensive they just won't but it. That is why they don't cuss the bread companies. You don't need bread to live. Gas is a different story. Our economy is dependent on gas. We need gas. We are all at the mercy of the oil companies, the dwindling supply, and OPEC for how much we pay for gas. You have no choice but to pay the price. And when it's reported on the news that the oil companies are making record profits and the gas prices have skyrocketed it ticks people off.
