I live close to Logan Martin Dam(Talladega County side) and when You cross over the dam You will notice that there is a permanent concrete mixing plant,two pump trucks and two drilling trucks there always. All of this equipment has APCO logos on them.This is one of the dams that is more earth than concrete, and the earth part was built on shale formations thus has the leaks. To me one of the best looking dams is the Lay Dam also on the Coosa River between Weogufka and Clanton close to Cats Place.
