That is a good question. I wonder if this data exists? We all know how they count auto traffic. I think it would have to use statistical data. How could you gather that data any other way? Would you take arial 'snapshots' and extrapulate the usage data from there? Maybe laser 'trip beams' set up in areas of interest? But that would only give a total count, not a breakdown as to type. Auburn University might could help.

This will bug me till somebody posts a real answer........
