I bring mine in 5 gallon cans.

Had an interesting exchange with a boat mech yesterday about gas. Seems there have been many boat motors, especially 2 strokes, having engine troubles. The repair shops think the problem is the ethanol mixed with the gas these days. The ethanol will mix with water to a certain degree and doesn't mix so well with the oil. In introducing water to the cylinders, and not mixing so well with the oil, many shops are seeing in increase in burned pistons and other internal problems.

So they are saying if you have a 2 stroke, buy branded (Texaco, Chevron or Exxon) gas. Check to see that it isn't blended with ethanol.

Not trying to start a war, just pass along information. Even the Shell station I stopped at yesterday sells blended fuel. I don't know about the Chevron that is closest to the house.

How bad is diesel Steve? I really haven't even looked.
