That one is my neighbor. They have really put a lot of effort into that place and it will be nice. And they have worked very hard to leave some native trees and vegitation there. All the stuff that was removed was junk. I walked down what will be the driveway the other day and it was tough but not at all impossible. I have 99 stairs with some landings from my house to the water.

I haven't seen the other place near Lincoln Harbor. Judging from some of the stuff you see. Like a camper next door to a 1/4 million place, I'd say there is no planning.

That huge house on the point across from the one we are talking about above. They completely cleared that lot to build that place. And then came back in with the landscape. It looks good now. But it would have been nice too if they could have kept some of the native stuff.

Anybody up for a neighborhood association? That or zoning laws would be the only way I know to change any of that. For me, I like the fact that it's my place and I can do what I want. But you cannot legislate common sense. Fortunatly, I have a little. But maybe not a lot. Like I said, 99 stairs from the water to the house. But I save some time and money on a gym membership. Thats not entirely true. I did join a gym this year. But I'll say this. After hitting the gym 3 or more times a week, my stairs don;t seem near as steep as they did last year.

Peace,
