Subject:   Standing up in pontoon boat

I missed this part of the earlier discussion about the driver being told to sit down. I almost always stand when I am pulling because I can see so much better (I can adjust my rear view mirror so I can see behind even while standing). This is particularly true with my deck boat because even with people sitting in front of me they block my view somewhat. I can understand passengers but not the pilot. I wonder what the rationale is as this will for 100% sure be less safe for the operation of my boat (and many others I suspect).
