Three or four years ago, I came up on one of the largest rattlesnakes I have ever seen out in the middle of Parker Creek. I was on the Sea Doo so was able to follow him along until he reached the shore and watched him crawl out. Unlike a lot of snakes who have most of their body submerged, his whole body was floating on top of the water the whole trip. It was a beautiful site, but I still kept my distance.
