Ask Lake Martin Dock Co. to be sure. As long as you're reworking that, check out the poles to which the floater is attached. Better be sure that they are twice as sturdy as they need to be, it would stink to have a brand new dock be ruined by your poles coming loose or otherwise allowing it to become damaged.
