I've seen the big fireworks down at Kowaliga a few times, but the best display that I ever saw at the lake took place across the lake from our cabin one year when two people or groups on opposite sides of a slough had a very large fireworks war. No bottle rockets or little stuff, but big bombs and multiple launchers. Really impressive stuff. I am surprised that they didn't suffer serious injury or burn down everything around them. I would love to have that much firepower just once.
