let me start by saying I will not eat at Sinclears, Disney World or any Dinner Theater. I know that the food at any of the above mentioned places will suck. Those places are not about the food.

If you want good food at that end of the lake cough up the money and join Willow Point. The food is excellent (at least for now) the service is great, and the staff is friendly and accomidating. And I eat there 2-3 times a week. On Wednes day they have a twofer special and among other things you can get Filet Mignon and all of the trimmings for $20 and your significant other eats for free.

On Friday evenings they have a piano player and a vocalist. Both are excellent and have performed on Broadway.

Also if you have an even half fast boat, you can get to the Cove from anywhere on the lake in about 20 minutes. I don't know about all of the food there because the rare Ahi Tuna is so good I get it every time I go. It is about twenty bucks. I don't know about the folks that seem to own the place they seem rather sketch and some of their business decisions seem questionable, but I don't know them and don't know the hole story.

By the time you do that and then eat at Chucks, Niffers and Oscars on your junk food days, there is only one meal left that week and it always seems to be The Yellow Hammer.

BTW my Canadian Beaver stick won stick of the month last year at the hammer.
