I know I'm beating this subject to death, but I finally went to Catfish Landing Thur. night. I is the only sit down rest. on our lake. Unfortunately it only has enough room to dock 1 boat and it's wayyyy up on 280. The food was good but if you don't eat fish you will be short of options. My wife and kids don't eat fish so it was chicken fingers for all 3 of them. I however had a feast. The Coosa platter is the biggest thing on the menu. A whole catfish, one filet, boiled and fried/butterflied 10 ct. shrimp, fried popcorn shrimp, stuffed crab, and cheese grits. Not to mention the basket of hushpuppies and bowl of cole slaw that you get pre-meal. It was great. Good Southern cooking at a decent price. Service was good as well. Now if we could just get one of these type places around the Cedar Creek area we'd be in business.
