I am fairly new to Lake Weiss myself, and have been told the same thing for the past two or three years. They always seem to drop the level the full 6' though, so I wouldn't expect anything different this year unless we hear something "official" stating otherwise. Sure wish the 3' drop was for real.....maybe it would help keep the lake at full pool more during the summer months (won't take so much to fill 'er back up if it's only down 3' instead of 6').
